In today’s fluid and ever-changing scenarios, where profound changes in socio-cultural attitudes require constant (re)accommodation and negotiation to new identities and language(s), translation has possibly become one of the essential metaphors of our globalized world. Indeed, each kind of transfer is at the very basis of translation (Pym 1992), which makes translation a metaphorical migration. Additionally, translation and migration, which entail transporting languages and cultural issues from from a source language/place into a target language/place, are both concerned with dislocating identities, though from different perspectives
