Multicolour lightcurves of three W UMa systems have been solved using the Wilson-Devinney computer code, modified in order to run on a medium-size minicomputer. The solution confirms the contact hypothesis for these systems, one of which lAQ Tue) has turned out to be of Binnendijk's A-type (deeper minimum produced by the eclipse of the more massive star), and the other two (AE Phe and 44 i Boo) of W-type.
