Nowadays the sphere of offshore wind energy takes a lot of attention as it opens a lot of abilities for renewable energy. There are a lot of projects which are planned to be realised in the nearest future and a lot of companies try to model these constructions based on information that is collected from the wind farms which are already in use. This thesis is about comparing different types of foundations for offshore wind farms and their main construction principles.
