The thesis was written for A-Insinöörit Suunnittelu Oy. The purpose of the work was to find better and more effective solutions for anchor bolts usage, study phenomena of the supplementary reinforcement, and study how supplementary reinforcement can affect headed and post-installed anchor bolts. The theoretical part describes in general the types of anchor bolts that are applicable for this work, failure modes of fasteners, phenomena of supplementary reinforcement, and what conditions must be observed for its usage.
