The impact of plastic pollution on soil

As a new form of environmental pollution, microplastics pose a serious threat to soil ecosystem. At present, research on microplastics mainly focus on aquatic ecosystems, but there is few research on the effects of soil on the ecosystem. In this paper, the classification and source of soil microplastics were discussed. How to isolate and detect the problems were also discussed, and microplastics and microplastic pollution in soil were summarized. In this paper, the adsorption and mechanism of plastic pollutants were analyzed. The effects of plastic pollutants on terrestrial microbial ecosystems and carbon and nitrogen flows were also analyzed
