NILAI-NILAI SOSIAL DALAM NOVEL KAMI (BUKAN) SARJANA KERTAS KARYA J.S. KHAIREN DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PENYUSUNAN LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKPD) UNTUK KELAS XI

This study aims to describe the social values contained in the novel and prepare student woeksheets for class XI. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data collection technique in this study refers to the reading and note-taking technique. The results of this study are a description of social values in the novel Kami (Bukan) Sarjana Kertas and the product is a Student Worksheets. There are ten social sub-values in the novel including the values of devotion, mutual help, kinship, loyalty, caring, sense of belonging, discipline, empathy, cooperation, and democracy. Student worksheets refers to Basic Competencies (KD) 3.11 Analyzing messages from one fiction book read and 4.11 Compile a review of the message of one fiction book read Based on the social values found, the novel Kami (Bukan) Sarjana Kertas can be a good example and deserves to be used as a learning resource in high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai sosial yang ada dalam novel tersebut dan menyusun LKPD untuk kelas XI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini mengacu pada teknik membaca dan catat. Hasil penelitian ini berupa deskripsi nilai-nilai sosial dalam novel Kami (Bukan) Sarjana Kertas dan produk berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Berdasarkan hasil temuan, terdapat sepuluh sub nilai sosial yang ada dalam novel tersebut meliputi nilai pengabdian, tolong-menolong, kekeluargaan, kesetiaan, kepedulian, rasa memiliki, disiplin, empati, kerja sama, dan demokrasi. LKPD mengacu pada Kompetensi Dasar (KD) 3.11 Menganalisis pesan dari satu buku fiksi yang dibaca dan 4.11 Menyusun ulasan terhadap pesan dari satu buku fiksi yang dibaca. Berdasarkan nilai sosial yang ditemukan, novel Kami (Bukan) Sarjana Kertas dapat menjadi teladan yang baik dan layak digunakan sebagai sumber pembelajaran di SMA.
