ABSTRACT RELATIONSHIP OF FAMILY SUPPORT WITH ANXIETY LEVEL OF PRE-MAJOR PATIENTS In the Rose Room, dr. Darsono, Pacitan Regency Slandri Sugiharto, Sulistyo Andarmoyo1 Family support is a form of interpersonal relationship that includes attitudes, actions and acceptance of family members, so that family members feel that someone is paying attention to them. Surgery is usually performed in a hospital operating room consisting of minor and major surgeries. Major surgery is carried out with preparation, procedures and postoperative care requiring a longer time and more intensive monitoring. Surgery can cause anxiety, because there is a threat to a person's body, integrity and soul. Untreated anxiety can cause problems pre-operatively, during surgery and post-surgery. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and anxiety levels of patients with pre-major surgery in Mawar Room RSUD dr. Darsono Pacitan. The research method uses Correlation Analytical Survey Research, which tries to explore how and why this health phenomenon occurs. The object of this research is the patients with pre-major surgery in the Mawar Room, RSUD dr. Darsono totaled 30 respondents. The research sample was 30 respondents according to the sample criteria for sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires and documentation studies. Data were analyzed by Spearman Rho using SPSS. The results of the study were based on the results of Spearmans Rho calculations using SPSS, the p value was 0.001 with an alpha of 0.05. The conclusion in this study is p value (0.001) < (0.05) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a relationship between family support and the level of anxiety of Pre-Major surgery patients undergoing treatment in the Mawar Room of RSUD dr.
