The COVID-19 pandemic led millions of Americans to work from home for the first time. Some Americans had already worked remotely, but the pandemic accelerated an expansive transition to remote work. And this transition is here to stay, experts predict. In a recent survey of 100 executives around the world, nine out of 10 executives plan to include remote work as an option after the pandemic. Although only about 10 percent of jobs have the capacity to transition to remote work, the impact of the shift is significant.
