Frustrated that she couldn’t find an appropriate textbook in the emerging field of neuroethics and with her students’ shuffling readings during class, professor Judy Grisel (psychology) implemented a novel solution in her first-year seminar. Collaborating with an instructional technologist and librarian, Grisel designed a course where students interacted with multiple types of resources on a single digital device (iPads), thereby enhancing and enriching class discussions.
