Pegawai/ atau aparatur profesional dalam menejemen pemerintahan akan memberikan dampak pemerintahan yang lebih berkualitas, lebih mampu mengemban fungsi-fungsi pelayanan publik, pemerdayaan masyarakat dan pembangunan sosial ekonomi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui besarnya pengaruh dari profesional kerja terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik pada Kantor Camat Medan Denai Kota Medan. Definisi operasional dari profesionalisme kerja pegawai adalah perlakuan yang sama (equality), keadilan (equity), kesetiaan (loyality) dan tanggungjawab (accountability), sedangkan pelayanan publik menggunakan indikator yaitu bukti nyata (tangibles), keandalan (reliability), daya tanggap (responsive), jaminan (assurance), dan empati (emphaty). Jenis penelitian adalah Kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini masyarakat Kecamatan Medan Denai sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah terdiri dari dua data primer dan data skunder, adapun pengumpulan data melalui data primer yaitu kuesioner, data skunder melalui observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data analisa dengan menggunakan korelasi produk moment teknik ini untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian hasil perhitungan rumus korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar 0,9 sedangkan menurut nilai r tabel dengan nilai N = 30 pada taraf kesalahan 5% adalah 0,349. dengan hasil tersebut maka dapat dikatakan bahwa antara variabel bebas (X) terhadap variabel terikat (Y) mempunyai hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Artinya bahwa penelitian ini menolak H0 tidak terdapat pengaruh antara profesionalisme kerja pegawai dengan pelayanan publik, dan menerima H1 artinya terdapat pengaruh antara profesionalisme kerja pegawai dengan pelayanan publik di Kantor Kecamatan Medan Denai Kota Medan. Perubahan pada variabel profesionalisme kerja pegawai tersebut mempunyai pengaruh positif atau searah terhadap perubahan pelayanan publik. Dengan kata lain, jika profesionalisme kerja pegawai meningkatmaka kualitas pelayanan publik di Kantor Kecamatan Medan Denai akan meningkat, begitupun sebaliknya apabila variabel profesionalisme kerja pegawai menurun maka kualitas pelayanan publik di Kantor Kecamatan Medam Denai juga akan menurun. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study was Medan Denai District community of 30 people. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of two primary data and secondary data, while the data collection through primary data is a questionnaire, secondary data through observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique was analyzed using product moment correlation techniques to test hypotheses. The results of the calculation of the product moment correlation formula obtained a correlation value of 0.9 while according to the value of r table with a value of N = 30 at an error level of 5% is 0.349. with these results it can be said that between the independent variable (X) to the dependent variable (Y) has a positive and significant relationship. This means that this research rejects H0, there is no influence between employee professionalism and public services, and accepting H1 means that there is an influence between employee professionalism and public service in Medan Denai District Office. Changes to the variables of employee professionalism have a positive or direct effect on changes in public services.
