58 HalamanPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kepercayaan diri remaja panti asuhan dan remaja anak jalanan. Kepercayaan Diri adalah sikap positif atau kemampuan seseorang yang dimilikinya dalam dirinya. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya perbedaan antara kepercayaan diri remaja panti asuhan dengan remaja anak jalanan.Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala model likert. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan incidental sampling dan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 60 orang. Analisis data penelitian ini dengan menggunakan Uji T-Test Separated Varians. Berdasarkan data uji coba skala kepercayaan diri dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari jumlah item yang diuji coba sebanyak 40 item dan terdapat 38 item yang memenuhi indeks diskriminasi rix > 0,3. Setelah uji coba, sebanyak 2 item dinyatakan gugur yaitu aitem butir nomor 30 dan 34. Dan seluruh aitem lainnya yang valid memiliki skor Corrected Item- Total Correlation (indeks daya beda rxy) >0,3; dengan skor reliabilitas (kendala) Cronbach Alpha 0,928. Yang berarti skala kepercayaan diri tergolong reliabel. Hasil perhitungan Mean Hipotetik remaja panti asuhan sebesar 95 dan Mean Empirik 108,83 yang berada dalam kategori tinggi dan perhitungan Mean Hipotetik remaja anak jalanan sebesar 95 dan Mean Empirik 108,70 yang berada dalam kategori diketahui sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka hipotesis penelitian dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to determine the differences in self-confidence of orphanage adolescents and street children. Self-confidence is a positive attitude or ability a person has in him. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a difference between the self-confidence of the orphanage adolescents and street children. The type of research used is quantitative research, with data collection techniques using a Likert scale model. The sampling technique used incidental sampling and total sampling with a sample size of 60 people. Analysis of the research data using the T-Test Separated Variance. Based on the test data of the confidence scale in this study, it shows that of the number of items tested were 40 items and there were 38 items that met the rix discrimination index> 0.3. After the trial, 2 items were declared invalid, namely items number 30 and 34. And all other valid items had a Corrected Item-Total Correlation score (rxy difference power index)> 0.3; with the Cronbach Alpha reliability score (constraint) 0.928. Which means that the scale of self-confidence is reliable. The results of the calculation of the Hypothetic Mean of the orphanage adolescents are 95 and the Empirical Mean is 108.83 which are in the high category and the calculation of the Hypothetic Mean of the street children is 95 and the Empirical Mean is 108.70 which are in the known moderate category.
