The Influence of Competence and Employee Placement on Employee Performance at PT. Brataco Medan

102 HalamanPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui “Kompetensi Dan Penempatan Karyawan Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada PT. Brataco Medan”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah asosiatif yaitu suatu penelitian yang bersifat menanyakan hubungan antara dua variabel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Karyawan Pada PT. Brataco Medan, sebanyak 60 karyawan. Dan dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, maka jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 responden diambil dari keseluruhan karyawan dari jumlah populasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji t dapat dilihat bahwa t hitung pada variable Kompetensi sebesar 3,527 lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 2.002 dengan probabilitas t yakni sig 0,001 lebih kecil dari batasan signifikansi sebesar 0,05. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut maka variabel Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja. Pada variable Penempatan Karyawan sebesar 7,272 lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 2.002 dengan probabilitas t yakni sig 0,000 lebih kecil dari batasan signifikansi sebesar 0,05. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut maka variabel Kompetensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja. Berdasarkan hasil uji F maka diperoleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 128,630 > 3.16 dengan sig 0,000 < 0,05, menunjukan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, berarti kompetensi dan penempatan karyawan secara serempak berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja. Nilai R Square yang diperoleh sebesar 0,812. Untuk melihat besar pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat dengan cara menghitung koefisien determinasi (KD) = R2 x 100%, sehingga diperoleh KD = 81,2% Angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 81,2 % kinerja (variabel terikat) dapat dijelaskan oleh kompetensi dan penempatan karyawan. Sisanya sebesar 18,8 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini.
