Obesity is a major health risk in people with mental retardation and the principle cause of various other health complications. Adequate levels of muscle strenght are fundamental for enabling people with mental retardation to become employed and to permit them to mantain a certain degree of indipendence with regard to the execution of activities that comprise daily life
