Research on the accumulation of heavy metals in bivalve fauna has not received much attention in Thua Thien Hue province, especially the bivalves of the Huong River, Hue City. In this study, we present results of the accumulation of lead metal by two species of Corbicula baudoni and Nodularia douglasisfirmus. The two species whose high levels of lead exceed the allowable levels of lead by The Ministry of Health are, therefore, not safe for users. The accumulation of Pb in Corbicula baudoni is significantly different (α = 0,05) compared to that in Nodularia douglasisfirmus.
