Introduction: Oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) is a potentially Malignant disorder of oral mucosa affecting mainly population in South and Southeast Asia. Oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) condition results in scars, fibrosis of the tissues, and develops precancerous lesions in some long-term individuals most frequently affecting the buccal mucosa. This study is aimed to determine the effectiveness of colchicine in the management of OSMF along with examination of clinical conditions such as burning sensation, buccal mucosal flexibility, interincisal distance, and protrusion of tongue.
