– After pre-treatment, wastewater from seafood process plants has a high concentration of organic matters and nutrients. With the unstable regime of inffluent changes daily based on amount of raw seafood, it is fairly difficult to maintain the quality of treated water to discharge standards. Researching to determine the parameters for aerobic process by laboratory model, as well as verifying by pilot in the field show that the high concentration and ratio of (N-NH4,TN)/BOD5 are the cause of process's instability. And to ensure that treated water reaches COD value that satisfies column B - QCVN 11-MT:2015/BTNMT, suggested parameters are: HRT≥12h; MLVSS: 1,8 - 2,6 g/l and F/M ≤0,3 g COD/g.d.
