In distributed generation (DG) selection and installation problem in distribution networks to promote operation efficiency, the important issue is that we should identify the optimal DG location and capacity in that grid to reduce power losses and improve voltage quality while operating that grid. However, because distribution networks are characterized by lots of nodes and branches,so we need to apply an algorithm to find a solution to this problem.
