Polypyrrole (PPy) has been dopped with anion TiF62- electrochemically on Au/quartz electrode. Redox property of polypyrrole film is studied with cyclicvoltammetry in small and large cation solutions. During redox process, the change of mass of polypyrrole film can be observed with electrochemical Quartz Crystal microbalance. The results shows that anion TiF62- can be released in/from the polymer film during cyclicvoltammetry. This behavior depends on the type of cation in solution. Large cation such as tetra-butylamonium (C4H9)4N+ cannot be dopped in polymer, so anion TiF62- is predominant for being released in/from the polymer film.
