The research evaluates the differences of household solid waste management systems in Bien Hoa and My Tho Cities using contingent valuation method (CVM)through surveying 100 households for each city. Result of the increasing population in stages from 2016 to 2020 and from 2021 to 2025 show that solid waste collection system no longer meets the requirements. Regression model identifies the factors that affect willingness to pay of households in the period 2016 - 2020. Willingness to pay in Bien Hoa city increases by 14,450 VND/month in the period 2016 - 2020 and 18,350 VND/month in the period from 2021 to 2025 compared with 28,000 VND/month at present.
