This paper proposes a method to analyze the economy for the rooftop photovoltaic system connected to grid in Binh Duong province. Based on the solar radiation of 14 wards in Thu Dau Mot city and load profile of a household in Thu Dau Mot city to analyse the possibility of rooftop photovoltaic system connected to grid. Furthermore, this study uses the PV Syst software to simulate the energy production of the system. From the analysis results, the economic and technical benefits for a rooftop photovoltaic system are 3kW-5kW, energy production is 4,48 to 7,54 MWh/Yr and the price for this system is from 2800 to 4300USD; the feedback time is 6 to 7 Years
