Digital solutions are often seen as a solution for improving efficiency and accessibility in healthcare. Besides clinical information systems, different eHealth solutions that support patients’ self-care and follow-up are becoming more popular. One example of a new eHealth solution is an application called eCare4Me that has been developed to support the care of home dialysis patients by enhancing communication between patients and the clinic, as the follow-up data from patients is more easily accessible and visible.
