STUDI LITERATUR HUBUNGAN ANTARA DUKUNGAN EMOSIONAL KELUARGA DENGAN PENINGKATAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2

ABSTRACK Literature Study of the Relationship Family Emotional Support with Improving Quality of Life in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients Thalia Tifani1, Zaqqi Ubaidillah2, Lilis Setyowati3 Background: Type 2 DM is an asymptomatic disease that is sometimes not realized and is the cause of various complications. DM disease can cause fear in sufferers because DM has a long treatment and cannot be cured. Family support in the form of emotional support will prevent stress and reduce anxiety in people with type 2 diabetes so that it can affect their quality of life. Research purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional support in the family and improving the quality of life of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: This research method uses a literature review with an instrument for assessing the quality of data sources, namely JBI or the Joanna Briggs Institute with minimum score 50%. The research design used a Cross Sectional Study using qualitative data analysis techniques. Results: The 9 journals explained that there was a significant relationship between family support variables including family support in the emotional dimension and quality of life variables for type 2 DM patients. The result of the search for sample from 5 journals were obtained from Google Scholar, 2 journals from Sage, 1 journal from Pubmed and 1 Journal from Proquest. Conclusion: the more positive the emotional support, the higher the quality of life for people with type 2 diabetes
