This chapter explores how culture is perceived and experienced in Chinese contexts. By focusing on how culture fa conceptualized within contextualized interactions in relation to histories and present globalized world, this study aims to explore the impact of intercultural communication knowledge on culture, identity, and communication. First, this chapter broadly discusses intercultural communication scholarship on culture and identity. Specifically, it introduces Asiancentrism, a culturally specific paradigm in inter/cultural knowledge production.
