The study is designed to examine patterns of personal energy expenditure and recovery, and how these patterns are associated with health and well-being. Data will be collected via longitudinal, mixed method survey of a diverse sample of 200 student and non-student adult workers. Measures will include multiple existing tools, including: the Utrecht Work Engagement scale (UWES), Profile of Mood States (POMS), Recovery Experience Questionnaire (REQ), and items from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Worker Well-Being Questionnaire (WellBQ).
