International audienceHydrogen as an energy vector has become a good candidate in the field of on-board systems. However, its storage is currently a challenge to be solved. This work presents a test bench for the characterization of metal hydrides tanks for stationery and transport applications. Dynamic and static characterizations are realized through describing the process of the charge of these tanks containing AB5 (LaNi5) hydride type. The final goal is to determine the thermodynamic parameter to implement an energy management of the hydride tank associated to a fuel cell
