This study, addresses the specific subject relating to the formulation of the economic value of art works in connection with their attribution and authentication. Through this process, which also includes regulatory issues, it follows that the current problem in the field of forgery and, in general inauthentic works, is precisely that of ascertaining, by means of scientific methods, whether a work of art is authentic or not.With this aim in mind, the following research project has been proposed and aims to develop the right methodological path to use to achieve this aim.
