La calidad de la información en los medios digitales de noticia

Access to information is the ability of the journalist or the media in general to reach the main actors of the news event. The news values acquire meaning whose activity begins with the compilation of informative material, these are materials that reach the journalist but are produced by others. Thanks to the emergence of multimedia, it is common for the company to be made up of television channels, newspa-pers, radios, agencies. Sources are a key factor for the quality of information produced by the media. The most outstanding characteristic of the sources is that they provide information as members or representatives of institutions or groups (organized or not) of interest or of other sectors of society. The most valuable sources are those capable of providing reliable information. The identified causes that destroy quality is information: abundant information on the Internet, loss of credibility in the media and the absence of a business methodology for digital journalism on the Internet. Within the quality standards for journalistic information that contribute to the strengthening of news products for the benefit of a better informed society: accessibility and usability of the site, identification of the resource and documentation on it, identification of the author, authority of the author, design and structure of the information, relevance and scope of the content, validity of the content, accuracy and reliability of the content, navigation within the document, quality of the links, aesthetic and affective aspects. Producing quality newscasts generates significant economic costs because it is necessary to invest in human resources (human capital) endowed with specialized skills. The configuration of a public that is not very demanding with the content of the news, and scarcely willing to pay for it, together with the reduction of costs applied by journalistic companies in response to the economic crisis they are suffering, seriously questions whether media organizations are willing to invest in informative quality. A descriptive methodology was applied, with a documentary approach, that is, reviewing sources available on the network, with timely and relevant content to respond to what is dis-cussed in this articleEl acceso a la información, es la capacidad que tiene el periodista o el medio en general, de llegar a los actores principales del hecho noticioso. Los valores noticia adquieren significado, cuya actividad se inician con la recopilación del material informativo, se trata de materiales que le llegan al periodista, pero producidos por otros. Gracias al surgimiento de los multimedios, es común que la empresa esté integrada por canales de televisión, diarios, radios, agencias. Las fuentes son un factor clave para la calidad de la información producida por los medios. La característica más destacada de las fuentes es que suministran informaciones en cuanto miembros o representantes de instituciones o grupos (organizados o no) de interés o de otros sectores de la sociedad. Las fuentes más valiosas son aquellas capa-ces de suministrar informaciones fiables. Las causas identificadas que destruyen la calidad es la información: abundante información en la red, pérdida de credibilidad en los medios y ausencia de una metodología de negocio del periodismo digital en internet. Dentro de los estándares de calidad para la información periodística que contribuyan al fortalecimiento de los productos de noticia en beneficio de una sociedad mejor informada: accesibilidad y usabilidad del sitio, identificación del recurso y documentación sobre el mismo, identificación del autor, autoridad del autor, diseño y estructura de la información, relevancia y alcance del contenido, validez del contenido, exactitud y fiabilidad del contenido, navegación dentro del documento, calidad de los enlaces, aspectos estéticos y afectivos. Producir noticie-ros de calidad genera importantes costes económicos porque es necesario invertir en recursos humanos (capital humano) dotados de habilidades especializadas. La configuración de un público poco exigente con el contenido de las noticias y escasamente dispuesto a pagar por el mismo, unido a la reducción de costes aplicada por las empresas periodísticas como respuesta ante la crisis económica que padecen, cuestiona seriamente que las organizaciones mediáticas estén dispuestas a invertir en calidad informativa.
