Add to ORKGAlthough many different media could be used to implement the flipped classroom approach, educational videos are undoubtably the most typical. Students are asked to watch them in view of active/interactive synchronous sessions, either online or in presence [6]. In this paper, we present a tool that allows making the most of this approach: Evoli. Evoli allows students to “tag” videos with time-stamped reactions on what they understand/not understand; in addition, it allows adding comments or questions. The instructor is provided with a dashboard where the aggregate reactions are shown, allowing her to better plan the synchronous sessions, knowing what topics/concepts were so clear that they do not need revision vs. those so unclear that the...
