This report aims to examine whether quantum computers can generate true unbiased random numbers. 12.5 MB of data was generated by a quantum computer provided by IBM. This data was then analyzed with the TestU01 test suite to check if it could be considered to come from an unbiased source of randomness. The data was also checked for frequency of binary ones over time, as well as if the frequency of ones was within what was expected. Most tests in the TestU01 test suite gave too low of a p-value, meaning the hypothesis that the numbers generated by the quantum computer is random can be rejected.
