BACKGROUND: The online intervention Runfitcheck was developed to stimulate injury-preventive behaviour among adult novice runners. OBJECTIVES: This study evaluated the effectiveness of Runfitcheck on injury-preventive behaviour among adult novice runners. METHODS: A randomised controlled trial was conducted among adult novice runners.
