INTRODUCTION Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) is the most common hip disorder in adolescent patients that can result in complex 3 dimensional (3D)-deformity and hip preservation surgery (eg, in situ pinning or proximal femoral osteotomy) is often performed.
