The management of the adaptation course in high schools by the class teacher Palicová Petra 2022 ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the issue of conducting adaptation courses at High schools. The main topic is the management of the courses by the class teachers themselves so that the course is beneficial for the collective, communication and the overall atmosphere of teaching. The adaptation course is seen here as one of the means by which school discipline can be aided and its appropriate form of management has a positive effect on teaching. In the practical part, the research is described, the aim of which was to analyse the process of designing and implementing an adaptation programme at High schools, with reference to the role of the class teacher. Quantitative research was chosen, the method of data collection was a questionnaire of own construction. Three hypotheses were formulated and chi-square was chosen to test them.
