Role Play as a way of sexual expression

The presented diploma thesis presents the Roleplay activity as a way of sexual expression. In the theoretical part, there are some basic definitions of concepts such as role, role acceptance and associated activities. It also deals with Roleplay games, which usually do not have sexual content, but for a comprehensive description of this issue, their introduction is necessary. The next chapter deals with some sex games and other forms of sexual expression. Special emphasis is placed on activities involving elements of BDSM and power exchange, because they are often related to Roleplay. An important topic is the principles applied for choosing a scenario and individual roles. The thesis also describes spheres in which Roleplay is widely used. In the conclusion of the theoretical part, there is described the sexual Roleplay and its most important aspects, which are examined in the empirical part. The empirical part has a quantitative character and its main goal is to better understand sexual Roleplay in terms of motivation, its specific forms, inspiration for scenarios, individual aspects and the influence of role acceptance on personality.
