This bachelor thesis analyses contemporary football through sociological optics, more specifically, which partakers are exhibiting and how on "global football field". Aim of this thesis is to place a ten-year-old text by Richard Giulianotti and Roland Robertson, Mapping the global football field: a sociological model of transnational forces within the world game in to the current context.
