ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA An. C DENGAN Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF)

Background: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease that attacks children and adults caused by a virus with manifestations of acute fever, bleeding, muscle and joint pain. Dengue is an acute Arbovirus (Arthropod Born Virus) infection transmitted by the Aedes Aegypti mosquito or by Aedes Aebopictus. Methods: Dengue fever often occurs when there is an increase in the intensity of rainfall which causes an increase in mosquitoes, this disease often occurs and its manifestations are even more dangerous if found in children. Maintenance of the patient's body fluid volume is very important and is given according to the phase of the disease, and the hematocrit value. The purpose of the study was to find out more about the nursing problems of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever patients. Hasil: Giving fluid rehydration aims to avoid hypovolemic shock, and maintain body fluid balance by performing fluid management. The recommended intervention in addition to fluid rehydration is to use the method of giving date palm juice for 6 days, with the aim of increasing platelets in patients with dengue fever. After the intervention, it was found that platelets had started to increase by 83,000, skin turgor improved, mucous membranes were moist, hematocrit was 38.1 (normal). Diskusi : Of the four nursing problems, hypovolemia becomes a priority diagnosis. Appropriate interventions are applied to the patient.
