The Effect of Knowledge Level on Awareness of Using Masks Properly in Preventing the Spread of Covid-19 on Lecturers and Education Personnel of Pharmacy Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang

Introduction: The use of masks can reduce the risk of contracting Covid-19 in public areas. However, the correct use of masks in the community has not been evaluated optimally. Where data about this is not yet available even though the information can be used to support the movement against the COVID-19 pandemic. Objective: This study was conducted to determine the profile of the use of masks in the Pharmacy Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, where this has never been done in previous studies. Methods: This study uses a cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling with 18 respondents. Results: A high level of knowledge (72.2%) influences the level of behaviour in the use of appropriate masks is high (83.3%).
