ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA Sdr. R DENGAN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK ON HEMODIALISIS DENGAN INTERVENSI DUKUNGAN KELUARGA Di Ruang Hemodialisis – RSU Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang

Background: Chronic kidney disease is a progressive and irreversible kidney function disorder, where the body is unable to maintain metabolism, fluid and electrolyte balance which results in an increase in urea. Chronic kidney disease patients have characteristics that are persistent, incurable, and require treatment in the form of kidney transplantation, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, and outpatient treatment for a long period of time. Family support is one of the factors that can affect patients in hemodialysis treatment. This study aims to analyze nursing care in patients with a diagnosis of Kidney Disease on HD in the Hemodialysis Room with family support interventions at the Muhammadiyah University Hospital Malang. Method: The final scientific paper design for nurses uses a case study approach. In this case study, researchers provide comprehensive nursing care to patients who experience chronic kidney disease on HD for 5 hours including: assessment, diagnosis, nursing by referring to the IDHS, preparing intervention plans using SIKI, performing nursing actions, and evaluating patients. Results: The author identified 5 nursing problems, namely: hypervolemia, acute pain, ineffective peripheral perfusion, anxiety and non-compliance. Nursing interventions carried out include management of hypervolemia, pain management, prevention of shock, reduction of anxiety and support for adherence to treatment programs that can be given interventions with family support. Discussion: Things that must be considered when carrying out nursing care for patients with Kidney Disease on HD are signs and symptoms of persistent recurrence as well as an increase in IDWG weight and patient vital signs, it is not enough in this case, the recommendations needed for patients are family support which can improve their health
