PERSEPSI MITOS MATA AIR 'WENDIT' OLEH MASYARAKAT DUSUN LOWOKSURUH, KECAMATAN PAKIS, KABUPATEN MALANG

In this study, the background of the ancestral heritage that is owned by every Indonesian society in which there are traditions and stories that are oral in nature are used as relics for the community. One form of community culture that cannot be separated from society is Myth. Now in the modern era, there are still myths that are still alive and thriving in society and many outside cultures have entered and mixed with local crocodiles. Therefore, there is a possibility that myths and beliefs begin to fall and are not recognized by Millennials. This study uses a descriptive research method, which seeks to examine research problems in depth and are clearly described. Data were collected by interview technique. Respondents in this study were ten people. Therefore, the perception of each community is influenced by the beliefs of each individual. Religious leaders in Lowoksuruh Hamlet are expected to pay attention and provide direction, so that people who believe in the Wendit Spring myth must believe that the water comes from the greatness of God
