Monitoring dan Kontrol Suhu pada Kandang Ayam Berbasis IoT

ABSTRACT In the maintenance of chickens, temperature, and humidity in the chicken coop require supervision because this temperature and humidity are very easy to change and affect the growth of chickens. Monitoring and controlling the temperature to be stable is needed so that the growth of chickens is good. The temperature required in the cage should be kept in the range of 28º Celsius - 33º Celsius, the problem is that the farmer only feels the heat in the cage to estimate the temperature in the chicken coop even just by looking at the behavior of the chickens so that it is inaccurate. An inappropriate temperature of the chicken coop can cause chickens to be inactive and to be more silent or sleep, as a result of which chicks are prone to disease so many chickens die. Based on previous research, there are still things that can be replaced such as seeing temperature and humidity via SMS replaced with the Blynk application through a low-delay internet connection. So in this study the author designed a Temperature Monitoring and Control system in IOT-Based Chicken Coops where Blynk is used to monitor temperature and humidity in chicken coops. The control system for fans and lamps functions according to the software design, when the temperature reaches above 33 ºC, the fan turns on to release excess heat, and the lamp turns on 40% to maintain temperature stability when the fan is on
