Pola Pengadeganan Pementasan Drama Orang Kasar Karya Anton Chekov Saduran W.S. Rendra Oleh Kelompok Teater Abhinaya Aksata

Drama is a form of literary work that contains elements of life with various complex problems. In drama performances, it is necessary to pay attention to the pattern of the scene in each scene so that strange things do not happen when the drama performance takes place. The performance of the drama script Orang Kasar by Anton Chekov, adapted by W.S Rendra by the theater group Abhinaya Aksata, was chosen because this performance pays great attention to important details in preparation for the performance. The role of the director in paying attention to every scene in the performance of this drama is also the main attraction for researchers to conduct this research. Based on this, the objectives of this study are (1) to describe the structure in the performance of the drama Orang Kasar by Anton Chekov, an adaptation of W.S Rendra by the Abhinaya Aksata group, (2) to describe the texture in the performance of the play Orang Kasar by Anton Chekov, an adaptation of W.S Rendra by the Abhinaya group. Aksata. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data for this research is the video of the performance of the drama Orang Kasar by Anton Chekov Saduran W.S Rendra along with the Prompt Book of the performance by paying attention to data quotes, sentences, and units of dialogue and monologue in the play. The data found, then processed through several steps, namely (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data exposure, and (4) drawing conclusions. This research was conducted with several procedures, namely preparation, implementation, and completion. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that in the pattern of staging the play "Orang Kasar" by Anton Chekov Saduran W.S Rendra, several drama structures were found. The structure of the drama is (1) act, (2) scene, (3) dialogue, (4) prologue, (epilogue). The textures of drama performances are (1) dialogue, (2) atmosphere, (3) spectacle. These structures and textures in a performance will form a scene pattern that is useful for visualizing drama scripts into performances. The realization process into audio-visual form requires a drama texture so that drama performances can become more real. Both the structure and texture of the drama complement each other. Manuscripts as a source of initial information from drama performances can provide text references to examine the structure and texture of the drama
