Analisis Daya Saing Gula Tebu Indonesia di Pasar Dunia

International trade is one of the important aspects in moving and advancing the country's economy. Sugar is one of the national strategic food commodities. In general, the sugar consumed comes from cane sugar. Cane sugar plays an important role in the agricultural sector, especially the plantation sub-sector in the national economy. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian cane sugar in the world market. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using secondary data in the form of time series data. The data used by the researcher is secondary data in the territory of Indonesia and several countries such as the Philippines, and Malaysia in the period 2011 to 2020. The type of data used is secondary data. The competitiveness of Indonesian Cane Sugar in the two export destination countries, namely the Philippines and Malaysia, is low in the RCA index and also low in the ISP for the last 10 years. The RCA and ISP values indicate that Indonesia is an exporter of Cane Sugar in the two destination countries
