Economic development can be interpreted as an effort to improve the standard of living of a nation which can be seen from the continuous increase in the gross domestic product or gross domestic product (GDP) of a country. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence income inequality in East Java in 2011 – 2015 with the variables of economic growth, unemployment and the human development index (IPM).
