ANALISIS PENGARUH PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI, IPM, DAN PENGANGGURAN TERHADAP KETIMPANGAN PENDAPATAN ANTAR DAERAH DI PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR TAHUN 2011-2015

Economic development can be interpreted as an effort to improve the standard of living of a nation which can be seen from the continuous increase in the gross domestic product or gross domestic product (GDP) of a country. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence income inequality in East Java in 2011 – 2015 with the variables of economic growth, unemployment and the human development index (IPM). The data used in this study is panel data which is a combination of time series and cross section. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of economic growth, unemployment and the Human Development Index (HDI) had a positive and significant effect on income inequality between regions in the province of East Java. Economic growth, unemployment and the Human Development Index are directly proportional to the rate of economic growth, which means that the higher economic growth, unemployment and the Human Development Index (HDI) will affect income inequality between regions in the province of East Java
