ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA TANI BUAH JERUK SIAM DI DESA TEMUREJO KECAMATAN BANGOREJO KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI

Siam oranges are one of the commodities that have an important role, as well as having bright prospects as a source of income for farmers, as the population increases and the nutritional needs for the body as a society increase. The purpose of this study was to analyze the cost structure, income and feasibility of Siamese citrus farming. The location determination was carried out purposively, with the consideration that Temurejo Village as a village located near urban areas (rural-urban), there are Siamese citrus plantations and farmers who grow Siamese oranges. On the other hand, the rate of conversion of agricultural land to non-agriculture is relatively high. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, so that primary data was obtained and supported by secondary data. The data is then analyzed using income analysis and farming feasibility. The results of the analysis of the data of 30 respondents showed that the average income from rice farming was Rp. 39,162,500/hectare/MT. The average total cost of production is Rp. 13,842,538/hectare/MT. Thus the average income received by farmers is Rp. 22,319,962/hectare/MT. The feasibility of siam orange farming in Temurejo Village obtained an R/C ratio of 2.61. This means that Siamese citrus farming in Temurejo Village is financially profitable and efficient and feasible to cultivate
