Studi Literatur Pengaruh Metode Simulasi Untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Dan Keterampilan Tentang Asi Eksklusif

Background: ASI is a natural food that contains quite perfect nutrients for baby's growth and development. But there are still many who ignore breastfeeding, the lack of breastfeeding, one of which can be from mothers who do not understand the importance of breastfeeding and health workers who do not provide guidance to breastfeeding mothers. The purpose of this study was to use the simulation method to increase the knowledge and abilities of health workers and breastfeeding mothers. Methods: The research design used is a literature review. Data were taken from 5 databases including Pubmed, Proquest, Science Direct, Biomed central and Google Scholar. A sample of 8 international articles was assessed for feasibility using the Joanna Briggs Institute. The articles obtained were then extracted and analyzed. Results: After analyzing the data on 8 articles about increasing knowledge and skills regarding exclusive breastfeeding, 2 themes were obtained including education and health promotion as many as 3 articles, simulations, workshops, demonstrations as many as 4 articles. The simulation method can improve the skills of health workers, Posyandu cadres for toddlers, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers in exclusive breastfeeding, the effectiveness of the simulation method can be seen from the results of 4 reviewed journals. Conclusion: In this study it can be concluded that the simulation method to improve exclusive breastfeeding skills is quite effective
