USULAN PERENCANAAN PERSEDIAAN PRODUK MENGGUNAKAN METODE ECONOMIC PRODUCTION QUANTITY- MULTI ITEM (Studi kasus:PT. XYZ)

Inventory control plays an important role in minimizing inventory costs. The purpose of this study is to reduce excess inventory (overproduct) and reduce inventory costs incurred. This research was conducted in a company that implements a batch size production system, in carrying out its production which has various types of products but is used with the same equipment. Inventory control with multi-item economic production quantity is suggested to produce optimal production cycle, production amount per cycle, total time required in one cycle and minimum total cost of inventory. The results of this study were able to estimate the inventory cost of Rp. 820,505,508/Year or a decrease of 3
