EFEKTIVITAS UN WOMEN MENINGKATKAN GENDER EQUALITY DI AFGHANISTAN DALAM PELAKSANAAN AFGHANISTAN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (A-SDGs)

This study is intended to provide an overview and also describe how the Effectiveness of United Nations Women (UN Women) in Improving Gender Equality in Afghanistan through the Afghanistan Sustainable Development Goals (A-SDGs). Where the researcher wants to explain the program and also the efforts made by UN Women to improve gender equality in Afghanistan by explaining cases of discrimination against women in Afghanistan and also explaining the effectiveness of UN Women in Afghanistan through the Afghanistan Sustainable Development Goals (A-SDGs) which are the Sustainable Development Goals. (SDGs) is an agenda that will be used as the country's development framework for the next 30 years starting in 2016. In this study the authors used descriptive qualitative research methods. Where this writing is intended to describe a phenomenon, and the data in this study were obtained through library research through journals, theses, theses, dissertations or e-books. This study also uses the theory of International Organization Effectiveness. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of UN Women to increase gender equality in Afghanistan through several programs and efforts, so that the programs and efforts carried out by UN Women have produced results and have had a great impact by increasing awareness that women also have an important role in the country. At the conclusion it was also explained that UN Women in Afghanistan was able to overcome gender problems in Afghanistan and realize the goals of the Afghanistan Sustainable Development Goals (A-SDGs) by realizing several points in the SDGs for the development of the country, especially in increasing gender equality
