PENGARUH VARIABEL EKONOMI MAKRO DAN KINERJA PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PERUSAHAAN ASURANSI

This study aims to determine the effect of macroeconomic variables and company performance on insurance stock prices. The independent variables used are Inflation, Economic Growth, Return on Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Earning per Share (EPS). While the dependent variable is the stock price. The research data was taken by purposive sampling method, the sample was taken with certain criteria. The object of this research is an insurance company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2020. The data analysis technique is panel data regression. The results showed that inflation and net profit margin (NPM) had a negative effect on stock prices, economic growth and return on assets (ROA) had no significant effect on stock prices, and earnings per share (EPS) had a positive effect on stock prices. Based on the results of the study, investors are encouraged to pay attention and understand the factors that affect stock prices before making a decision to invest, with the hope that investors can make the right decisions to get maximum profit
