PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP ANAK KORBAN BULLYING (STUDI DI POLRES KOTA PONTIANAK)

Bullying is an action taken by someone who has power over others who are considered weak physically, verbally, psychologically. Of course there is a form of legal protection for the rights of children as victims of bullying. The problem in this study is how to protect the rights of victims of child bullying at the Pontianak City Police, as well as the obstacles to solving the criminal acts of bullying victims at the Pontianak City Police. This study used a sociological juridical approach, and the data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The conclusion from the author, by analyzing the case and the results of interviews that some legal protections for the rights of victims, namely the right to a new identity, the right to a new residence, the right to obtain reimbursement for transportation costs have not been implemented, so the author can analyze research related to legal protection and the obstacles to resolving still have obstacles carried out by the Pontianak City Police, so that children who are victims have not received maximum protection. Currently, many children do not get the rights they should, so the process and form of the Pontianak City Police Protection are not maximized. In this paper, the author gives advice to the community, parents, schools, Pontianak City Police to provide good examples and directions for socialization in order to reduce the crime of bullying
