PERILAKU PREMANISME DALAM PENGELOLAAN LAHAN PARKIR (Studi Pada Kelompok Tukang Parkir di Kelurahan Temas Kota Batu)

The phenomenon of thuggery is one of the khazanah sociology of life struggles that occur in urban areas that arise due to economic pressures and patterns of survival in job competition. The development of Batu City into a tourism city increase the number of jobs, fiercing competition so that there are members of the community who are unable to survive. The difficulty of finding a job makes some people see parking lots as source of money because of the decent income. This study aims to determine how thuggery behavior is in parking lot management in Temas Village, Batu City. This research method uses descriptive research method, the data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. The main target of this research focus is a group of parking attendants in Temas Village. Determination of the subject in this study using purposive sampling. Data collection methods used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study obtained various forms of parking thug behavior. Related to the theory of Voluntary Action by Talcott Parsons, parking attendants as an actors have a goal to maintain or manage parking lot, they often offer conflicts of interest. The parking attendant in the situation he encountered made decisions that led to fights between parking attendants, business vandalism, parking lot grabbing, parking lot buying and selling practices, and division of parking lot. In this case the tools or decisions taken by the parking attendants are influenced by the norms, values, ideas and situational conditions at that time
