Background : Antioksidant compunds can overcome skin aging due to the bad effect of free radicals. One of the natural antioxidants contained in white pomegranate skin is high flavonoid, tannin, and ellagitanin compounds so that it is able to prevent and inhibid the formation of free radicals. Peel off mask is very praticial to use because when dry the mask can be peeled of easly. Objective : Determine the effect of 1%, 2%, 3% promegranate (Punica granatum L.) skin extracts on the antioxidants activity of peel off mask preparation on a 12% PVA (Polivinyl alcohol) bases and PEG 6000 before and after the stability test. Methods : White pomegranate peel extract was extracted by maceration using 70% ethanol solvent. Peel off mask formulations are made on the basis of 12% PVA (Polyvinyl alcohol). Evaluation of peel off mask preparations includes observing antioxidant activity before and after stability testing at 400C for 28 days. Antioxidant activity testing was carried out using the DPPH (1,1-Diphenyl- 2-picrylhydrazyl) method in absorbance using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 515.0 nm - 520.0 nm. Then the free radical antidote activity is calculated as a percentage of DPPH reduction.
